The Five Moments of Learning Need – video
Last week as part of a presentation on ‘How managers learn’ I shared this video that the team at GoodPractice had made about ‘the five moments of learning need’ as set out by Conrad Gottfredson and Bob Mosher in their excellent book, Innovative Performance Support.
Nigel Paine provides a good review of the book.
The video got a great reaction and I think it demonstrates really well the different stages of learning that need to be supported to make a real difference to performance.
Let me know what you think?
Very good, simple illustration that sticks in the mind!!!

+1
Eggcellent video! Very clear examples (I’m resisting carry on the egg puns, there are plenty in the video already!) of the different stages of learning, and how one must adapt to learn in different situations.
Strong points, well defined. Got me thinking about how we approach challenges like these (well, not so much cooking eggs for parties but in terms of learning in a variety of situations) in our business.
