From the airport
The airport is to the west of the city, approximately 7 miles from the city centre and the GoodPractice office. The journey takes around 30 minutes by bus, and regular Airlink buses run from the airport direct to the city centre and main rail and bus stations.
By train/on foot
We are a five minute walk from Edinburgh Waverley station. Exit the station by the Waverley Steps and turn left. Cross onto Princes Street and turn right up into South St Andrew Street. Continue into St Andrew Square, turn left and walk along the south side of the square. Cross over onto South St David Street, turn right and walk a few yards until you reach George Street. Walk along the north side of George Street, past St Andrew’s and St George’s Church, and when you reach Hanover Street, cross over and turn right, heading down the hill. Walk down the hill a few yards and take the first turning on the left, into Thistle Street. Then take the first turning on the right, into North West Thistle Street lane. The GoodPractice office is on the right hand side, Stewart House (number 22).
By bus
Edinburgh is well served by public transport and a range of bus services will bring you into the heart of the city. Specifically, buses 19, 24, 29, 26, 41 and 42 stop on Frederick Street, while buses 23, 27 and 45 stop on Hanover Street, on either side of Thistle Street.
